Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. introduced five new half-bridge IGBT power modules in the redesigned INT-A-PAK package. These modules, including the VS-GT100TS065S, VS-GT150TS065S, VS-GT200TS065S, VS-GT100TS065N, and VS-GT200TS065N, offers a choice between low VCE(ON) or low Eoff technologies to minimize conduction or switching losses in high-current inverter stages across transportation, energy, and industrial sectors. Employing IGBT technology, these half-bridge devices combine improved power savings with Gen IV FRED Pt® anti-parallel diodes, known for their ultra-soft reverse recovery characteristics. Featuring a new gate pin orientation, the compact INT-A-PAK package ensures 100% compatibility with the industry-standard 34 mm package, facilitating mechanical drop-in replacements. These industrial-grade devices find application in various fields such as power supply inverters for railway equipment, energy systems, welding machinery, motor drives, and robotics. 

Additionally, models like VS-GT100TS065S, VS-GT150TS065S, and VS-GT200TS065S minimize conduction losses in TIG welding machines with an industry-low collector to emitter voltage of ≤ 1.07 V at +125 °C. Conversely, VS-GT100TS065N and VS-GT200TS065N cater to high-frequency power applications with extremely low switching losses, featuring Eoff down to 1.0 mJ at +125 °C. These RoHS-compliant modules offer 650 V collector to emitter voltages, continuous collector currents ranging from 100 A to 200 A, and very low junction to cause thermal resistance. Furthermore, the UL-approved file E78996, can be directly mounted to heatsinks and provide low EMI, reducing snubbing requirements.
