MAX22201 - Brushed Motor Driver with Integrated Current Sense

The MAX22201 ICs integrate a single 36V, 3.5A peak full bridge configuration for driving brushed DC motors. With low impedance FETs and a typical RON of 0.3Ω, the full bridge ensures high driving efficiency. Peak current of 3.5A is limited by overcurrent protection, while the maximum RMS current is 2A, subject to thermal considerations. These ICs feature integrated current sensing and current drive regulation to monitor and limit motor current. They also provide overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout capabilities. Packaged in a compact TDFN12 form factor, the MAX22201 are well-suited for space- and power-sensitive applications, offering excellent efficiency and accurate current sensing. The MAX22201 is available in a compact TDFN12 package measuring 3mm x 3mm package.
