MLX75026 Image Sensor IC
The MLX75026 image sensor IC with IRBP from Melexis is an AEC-Q100 qualified QVGA time-of-flight sensor that further expands the third generation of ToF sensors from the company. This ToF sensor IC features QVGA (320x240 pixels) resolution with a 1/4-inch optical format and supports 940 nm illumination. It supports both 850 and 940 nm wavelengths and is also available with an integrated 940nm bandpass filter. Moreover, the high integration, small size, and low power consumption of the sensor, coupled with the integration of the IR bandpass filters, enables the design of compact and cost-effective ToF cameras for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
This Sensor IC targets automotive use cases like driver monitoring (DMS), in-cabin monitoring, gesture control, safety applications related to airbag deployment, head-up display (HUD) driver alignment, and industrial applications like automated guided vehicles (AGVs), elevator entry, and (collaborative) robotics. Samples of the MLX75026 with IRBP filter are now available and a compact high-performance evaluation kit (EVK) will also be released.
PHPA Series Resistors
The new thin-film PHPA series resistors from Vishay Intertechnology offer a resistance range from 10Ω to 30.1kΩ, low noise of less than -30dB, low voltage coefficients of <0.1ppm/V, and a working voltage of 200V. These high-power wraparound chip resistors with a self-passivated tantalum nitride film for superior moisture resistance combine power ratings of 1.0W and 2.5W in the 1206 and 2512 case sizes. This Series features a high purity ceramic substrate and is designed with enlarged backside terminations to reduce the thermal resistance between the topside resistor layer and the solder joint on the PCB.
It can be used in automotive power supplies, braking systems, on-board chargers, motor deflection circuits, and industrial test and measurement equipment. Moreover, for precision performance in these applications, the resistors combine their high-power ratings with low absolute TCR down to ± 25 ppm/°C and tolerances down to ± 0.1%. Samples of the PHPA series are now available and production quantities are available from franchised distributors, with lead times of 10 to 12 weeks.
BU18xMxx-C Series ICs and BD86852MUF-C PMIC
The new SerDes ICs (BU18xMxx-C series) and a PMIC (BD86852MUF-C) for vehicle satellite camera modules feature low electromagnetic noise (EMI) that reduces development time. SerDes ICs with a new PMIC for cameras utilize a spread spectrum function to reduce EMI and simplifies EMI countermeasures, which often require significant man-hours during the design of automotive applications. The BU18xMxx-C SerDes IC optimizes the transmission rate based on video resolution, making it possible to reduce power consumption by 27% over general products. The BD86852MUF-C Power Management ICs optimally manage the power supply systems of CMOS image sensors from all major manufacturers which enables voltage settings and sequence control to be performed with a single IC.
Both BU18xMxx-C SerDes ICs and BD86852MUF-C PMICs are qualified under the AEC-Q100 to meet the reliability requirements of automotive applications.
SFL Series
The SFL series of 300W and 1,000W programmable electronic DC loads from TDK Corporation offer high-speed current control, eliminating load current overshoot and oscillation, low voltage operation, no turn-on delay, and linear operation from 0V. Loads of these devices can be programmed for multiple load types, including constant current, constant resistance, constant power, external control, short circuit, and constant voltage with a current limit. Moreover, the SFL load current rise and fall times (slew rate) can be controlled up to 30A/µs, and the internal memory can store and recall eight different load settings.
This Series offers 4 operating modes that enable customers to perform up to 17 different load tests on DC power supplies, fuel cells, solar cells, batteries, and components for optimal performance.
IHLP-7575GZ-5A Inductor
The New IHLP-7575GZ-5A inductor from Vishay Intertechnology offers up to 30 % lower DCR and up to 35 % higher current ratings at a 50% lower cost. It is an Automotive Grade IHLP low profile, high current inductor in the 7575-case size for under the hood automotive applications. This AEC-Q200 qualified inductor is optimized for energy storage in DC/DC converters up to 2 MHz and high current filtering applications up to the SRF of the inductor. Packaged in a 100 % lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels, the IHLP-7575GZ-5A offers high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock, and handles high transient current spikes without saturation.
This Inductor is designed for filtering and DC/DC conversion in engine and transmission control units, diesel injection drivers, and entertainment/navigation systems, in addition to noise suppression for high current BLDC motors, windshield wipers, power mirrors and seats, HID and LED lighting, and heating and ventilation blowers.
