BA3258HFP Dual Output LDO Regulators

The BA3258HFP is fixed 2-output low-saturation, low dropout voltage regulator with a voltage accuracy at both outputs of ±2%. This voltage regulator incorporates both over-current protection and thermal shutdown (TSD) circuits in order to prevent damage due to output short-circuiting and overloading, respectively.

BA3258HFP Introduction

The BA3258HFP is an industry-grade, low cost, single-chip, high current Low Dropout  Voltage Regulator, which has an input voltage of 14V max, this IC features dual output stage. It can produce two regulated output voltages one 3.3V, and one 1.5V from a single input. This is a very space-efficient LDO that comes in an HRP5 package.

The BA3258HFP has a quiescent current of 10mA with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. BA3258HFP is generally used in include FPDs, TVs, DSPs, DVDs, and other battery-Powered Equipment’s.

 

How to use the BA3258HFP

BA3258HFP low dropout regulator comes in 5 and package in 2 pins are output voltage pins. Supply the input voltage to the V-in pin and we get the regulated 3.3V 1.5V at the output pins. The input and output capacitors are used for ripple filtering. Connect a ceramic capacitor with a capacitance of approximately 3.3μF between VCC and GND close to the pins. Also, connect a 1µf capacitor between Vo and GND pins in order to prevent output oscillation.
