Vishay Intertechnology has upgraded its VSOP383xx series of IR remote control preamplifier circuits with the new Cyllene 2 IC, delivering improved performance, better energy efficiency, and greater design flexibility. These enhancements make the circuits more reliable and adaptable for various consumer electronics applications. These preamplifier circuits are commonly used in TVs, soundbars, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, and audio systems, where they ensure more reliable remote control performance.

One of the key improvements is the wider supply voltage range, which now extends from 2.0V to 5.5V, allowing compatibility with a broader range of devices.These circuits are designed to handle interference better and are designed to handle interference like bright lights and Wi-Fi signals (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), so your remote works smoothly without glitches. The upgraded version also makes remote controls more reliable, with 37% better sensitivity in low light, perfect for dim rooms where remotes sometimes struggle.

VSOP383xx series is built to handle interference, meaning bright lights or Wi-Fi signals from 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz won’t disrupt performance. With their tiny 2mm x 2mm x 0.76 mm size, these circuits help make devices smaller and use less power, which extends battery life.
