High-Frequency Thin Film Chip Resistors

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has introduced the new CHA series of AEC-Q200 qualified thin film chip resistors, designed to deliver exceptional high-frequency performance up to 70 GHz. These advanced resistors are specifically engineered for demanding automotive, space, avionics, telecom, and military applications. The CHA series is ideal for automotive ADAS, LIDAR, connectivity, and 4D radar systems; LEO satellites and space communication systems; military guidance and telemetry systems; drones; and RF antennas.

The Vishay Sfernice CHA series is available in the ultra-compact 02016 case size and offers a comprehensive range of resistance values from 10 Ω to 500 Ω. The CHA series stands out for its extremely low internal reactance and near-pure resistor behavior across a broad frequency range, maintaining a nearly flat Z/R curve up to 70 GHz. This ensures high-frequency stability even after undergoing rigorous AEC-Q200 testing, validated by their ΔR and Z/R measurements.
