Load Cell
A load cell is a device that is used to measure force. In response to an applied force, it produces an electrical signal on the output. One of the most common types of load cell is the strain gauge, which is used to measure weight.
HX711–24 Bit ADC
HX711 is an ADC chip with preamplifier included. The chip is specifically designed for weight scales applications. The load cells which usually measure weight provide voltage outputs in millivolts.
