AAEON MAX-Q870A and MAX-H810A Micro-ATX Motherboards

AAEON has announced the release of two new Micro-ATX industrial motherboards, the MAX-Q870A and MAX-H810A. These boards feature Intel® Core™ Ultra 200S Series Processors, previously known as Arrow Lake-S, marking a significant update for industrial computing solutions. The announcement, made on September 9, 2026, in Taipei, Taiwan, highlights AAEON's commitment to integrating advanced processing capabilities into robust form factors.

The MAX-Q870A is specifically designed for advanced AI and machine vision applications, supporting Arrow Lake-S CPUs with power requirements up to 125W SKUs. It offers extensive memory and storage capabilities, including four CU/U-DIMM slots for up to 256GB of DDR5 memory, dual M.2 M-Key slots with NVMe support, and two SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, and 5 support. Its robust expansion architecture accommodates four PCIe devices simultaneously, utilizing one PCIe Gen 5 x16, two PCIe Gen 4 x4, and one PCIe Gen 4 x1 slot.

In contrast, the MAX-H810A targets modern industrial automation and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications, providing a cost-efficient solution. This board supports Arrow Lake-S CPUs up to 65W SKUs and offers up to 128GB of DDR5 memory across two CU/U-DIMM slots. Storage is managed by dual SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0 and 1 support, alongside an M.2 M-Key slot. Expansion options include PCIe Gen 5 x16, PCIe Gen 4 x4, and PCIe Gen 4 x1 slots, complemented by an M.2 E-Key for wireless module support.

Both the MAX-Q870A and MAX-H810A platforms are engineered to operate across a wide temperature range of -20°C to 60°C and support both Windows® 11 and Linux Ubuntu 24.04.2. AAEON confirms that both models are currently in mass production, with samples readily available through their eShop.
