New Compact Surface Mount Type Photo Reflector for Rotation Detection of the Operation Dial

Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc. has introduced the new NJL5821R/NJL5822R series of compact surface mount type photo reflector which is built in a high brightness Infrared LED and PDIC and can obtain two-phase(A,B) digital signals with the recommended striped reflector. It is the optimum sensor for various kinds of rotation detection which can contribute to the low power consumption of the set and simplification of the design. This device is available in a miniature, thin package of 2.6mm x 2.5mm x 0.8mm and features an operating temperature range of -30 to +105℃.
