High SOA MOSFET with low on-resistance for 12V Hot-Swap Applications
Alpha and Omega Semiconductors Limited (AOS) has introduced the AONS32310, a 30V MOSFET with low on-resistance and a high Safe Operation Area (SOA) capability. The SOA is required to be used in hot-swap and e-fuse applications, where the MOSFET needs to be robust to manage high inrush current effectively.
For better robustness, the AONS32310 is packed in a DFN 5x6 package and has a maximum Rds (on) of 1.05mΩ at an applied Gate-Source Voltage equal to 10VGS. The device is designed with a Coss of 1430pF, Crss of 900pF, and a Ciss of 15350pF.
