TXO Series: Compact and Efficient AC/DC Open-Frame Power Supplies for Industrial Applications

Tarco Power introduced the TXO series, comprising the three AC/DC open-frame power supplies, available in TXO 45 Watt, TXO 60 Watt, and TXO 120-Watt models. These power supplies are equipped with a 3000 VAC reinforced isolation system, ensuring robust performance in industrial environments. The design of the TXO series focuses on providing a compact and cost-efficient solution for various industrial applications. One of the standout features of these power supplies is their high efficiency, which reaches up to 92%. This high level of efficiency allows for a more compact design and contributes to the broad operating temperature range. Specifically, the TXO series can operate from –20°C to +50°C without any need for derating, meaning the power supplies maintain full performance within this temperature range. However, if operating temperatures rise, the power supplies can still function up to +70°C, though this requires load derating.

The TXO series is also designed to meet the ErP directive, which mandates low power consumption when the power supply is not under load. Specifically, these power supplies consume less than 0.3 W in no-load conditions, making them energy-efficient even when idle. Additionally, the 120 Watt model in the series includes active power factor correction, which improves efficiency and reduces power consumption in demanding applications. The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) characteristics of the TXO series are tailored for industrial, automation, and test & measurement fields, ensuring reliable performance in these environments.
