Advantech has recently launched the AMAX-5070 ModBus/TCP coupler that serves as a high-density ModBus TCP I/O system, efficiently gathering data from all connected I/O modules and offering a seamless integration solution for factory IT/OT systems, combining simplicity and reliability.
The AMAX-5070 ModBus/TCP coupler supports up to 255 different I/O, this compact device, measuring only 10 x 2.5 cm, provides a powerful solution for data collection. It also incorporates Group IDs and cable redundancy to enhance EtherCAT connectivity. These advanced features contribute to the creation of a robust ModBus TCP DADC system that is effortless to configure and remotely control.
The AMAX-5070 ModBus TCP Coupler enables up to 160 DIO or 60 AIO points within a 15 cm width. The AMAX-5000 series offers 15 versatile modules for remote management, including encoders and decoders. The user-friendly Group ID technology simplifies setup, synchronizing hardware and software efficiently. With one IP address supporting up to 255 I/O modules, the AMAX-5070 overcomes IP shortage challenges and streamlines IT maintenance.
