ACEPACK 1DMT-32 SiC Power Modules for Automotive Applications

STMicroelectronics has launched the ACEPACK 1DMT-32 SiC power modules designed for automotive applications. These modules come in a 32-pin, dual-inline, molded, through-hole package, making them suitable for on-board chargers(OBC), DC/DC converters, fluid pumps, air conditioning, and more. The product family offers different configurations (four-pack, six-pack, totem-pole) and features 1200V SiC power switches, ensuring high power density and efficiency. They are built with ST's advanced SiC MOSFET technology, reducing temperature dependence and enhancing reliability. The modules feature an aluminum nitride insulated substrate for efficient thermal management and an integrated NTC sensor for temperature monitoring and protection. The initial product, M1F45M12W2-1LA, is in volume production, and additional variants are expected to follow soon. These modules contribute to higher power density, compact designs, and efficiency improvements in automotive power electronics.
