STMicroelectronics has launched the STM32H573I-DK Discovery kit, a versatile development board for STM32H5 microcontrollers. These microcontrollers are designed for high-performance and advanced security across various applications, including industrial controllers, smart sensors, networking equipment, and personal electronics.
The Discovery kit allows developers to explore STM32H5's integrated features, facilitating the creation of designs for industrial PLCs, motor drives, smart appliances, and more. It includes an STM32H5 microcontroller, this versatile development board boasts a rich array of hardware features, including an RGB interface LCD with a touch panel, USART, USB Type-C FS (Source/Sink), Ethernet, microSD, Octo‑SPI flash memory, SAI audio codec stereo with audio jack input/output, MEMS digital microphone, and more. The kit also provides connectors like ARDUINO Uno V3, Pmod, and STMod+ for easy extension and daughterboard connections. It includes an STLINK-V3EC embedded in-circuit debugger and programmer for the STM32 microcontroller, along with a USB Virtual COM port bridge.
Simplifying development, the STM32CubeH5 MCU software package consolidates all necessary components, and STM32CubeMX aids in MCU configuration. The STM32H5 series supports Arm Cortex-M33, operates at 250MHz, and features robust security, including Arm TrustZone and ST's STM32Trust framework.
