Miniaturized IR Sensor Modules with Modulated Carrier Output for Remote Control Systems
Vishay Intertechnology has announced the launch of three infrared (IR) sensor modules designed for remote control systems. These modules, including the TSMP95000, TSMP96000, and TSMP98000 from Vishay Semiconductors, offer modulated carrier output for code learning applications.
They operate within a supply voltage range of 2.0 V to 5.5 V and consume 0.35 mA at 3.3 V, ensuring efficiency. These modules come with a newly developed in-house IC for long-term availability. These modules serve as compatible replacements for previous-generation solutions while delivering improved performance.
They provide a higher ESD withstand capability of up to 12 kV in the human body model and better performance in strong DC light conditions. These sensor modules offer TTL and CMOS compatibility, with a typical irradiance of 12 mW/m2 and a transmission distance of 1.8 meters when used with a single TSAL6200 emitter.
