Affordable Open-Frame 80W Power Supplies for Lighting, Display, ITE, and Industrial Applications

LCE80 from XP Power is a range of open-frame 80W power supplies that offer a solution for lighting, display, ITE, and industrial applications. This new device with silent fan-less operation is ideally suited for fan-less applications where audible noise can be an issue such as in offices. Housed in compact 4” x 2” x 1.1” (101.6mm x 50.8mm x 27.9mm) open frame format, the LCE80 units include short circuits, overvoltage, and overload protection that protect the power supply and any load that it is powering.

The range includes 10 single output models with the range 5.0V to 54.0V and efficiency levels as high as 90%. Each device in the range enhances the reliability of the overall system while reducing system size and weight as well as simplifying mechanical design. All units in the range offer Class I and Class II operation and carry a wide range of relevant approvals including EN55032, EN55015, and EN61000-3 for EMC emissions and EN55035 and EN61547 for EMC immunity.

Depending on the load condition that ensures compatibility with a wide variety of applications, the output of the devices operates in constant voltage or constant current mode. With an ultra-wide input range of 90 to 305VAC, the units can safely operate at a single-phase high line of 277VAC nominal. Additionally, devices are approved to EN/UL/IEC62368-1 for ITE safety and EN61347-1/UL8750 for lighting and displays.
