LM1558 Dual Operational Amplifier
The LM1558 are general purpose dual operational amplifiers. The two amplifiers inside this single IC share a common bias network, and power supply leads. Otherwise, their operation is completely independent.

LM1558 JFET Input Op-Amp
The LM1558 is a Dual Input JEFET from Texas Instruments. Since the Op-Amp inputs are feed through JFET, they provide high input impedance and wide bandwidth (1MHz) with a 0.5V/uS slew rate. It also provides low input noise and biased current making the IC suitable for audio amplifier applications.
The Op-Amp is designed to be used in dual-supply voltage (±22V), using with single supply will limit the output voltage to 0.7V for low and 1.5V for high. Hence the Op-Amp is more widely used in the analog circuits or audio circuits. The digital circuit equivalent for LM1558 will be MCP6002 from Microchip.
