Brief Description of KST42
The KST12 is a high voltage NPN Transistor that can be used to switch high voltage applications. The transistor has a collector emitter voltage of 300V and a base trigger voltage of 6V. The maximum collector current through the transistor is 500mA. It also has a gain value of 40 and hence can be used in low audio amplifier designs.
Since the transistor also has its complementary PNP part, the KST92 both can be combined to build push pull circuits and other amplifier circuits. The transistor is available only in SMD package and has a marking “D1” on top of it for identification.
