TMR 10WIR: Traco’s Compact DC/DC Converter for Railway Industry

TRACO Power has released the TMR 10WIR series, a compact and reliable line of 10-watt DC/DC converters designed for use in demanding environments such as railway and industrial applications.

These converters come in a compact SIP-8 metal case and support a wide 4:1 input voltage range. With efficiency reaching up to 89%, they can operate smoothly in temperatures from –40°C to +75°C, no derating needed. The design is built to handle exposure to shock, vibration, thermal stress, and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for rugged conditions.

The TMR 10WIR series meets important standards like EN 50155 and EN 61373 for railway use, EN 45545-2 for fire safety, and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 for overall safety compliance. These approvals make the product easier to integrate into transportation and industrial systems that require formal certification.
