Thin Film Chip Resistors for High Stability and Precision in Sulphus Exposed Automotive, Industrial, and Instrumentation Applications
TT Electronics has introduced the APC Series resistors that are qualified for use in environments exposed to sulfur-bearing gasses. The APC series of resistors were designed to provide stability and tight tolerance and they are also optimized for high precision analog circuits deployed in polluted environments where sulphur compounds in the fumes may be a problem to the metals in standard component terminations.
The APC resistors can be used to reduce failure in harsh automotive, industrial, and instrumentation applications such as automotive battery management, roadside monitoring, vehicle maintenance equipment, industrial process control, portable test and measurement, and process monitoring in rubber, wine, petrochemicals, and waste.
Features of APC Resistor Series
- Precision thin-film technology
- Two grades of sulphur protection
- Precision to ±0.05% and ±10ppm/°C
- Accurate and Reliable
- Tested to operate up to 1000 hours at 105°C and up to 85% relative humidity
