Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., through its Vishay Dale brand, has introduced two new low-profile common-mode chokes, the commercial ICMS2321-10 and the Automotive Grade ICMS2321-1A. These components are designed for high-current applications across automotive, energy, and industrial sectors, addressing the critical need for robust noise suppression in demanding environments.

These common mode chokes stand out due to their low-profile design, which contributes to reduced size and volume, making them inherently more resistant to shock and vibration. An enhanced core design further boosts performance and saturation current, maintaining stability at high temperatures up to +150 °C. With a heat-rated current up to 30 A and a 1500 VDC dielectric withstand voltage between coils, they offer reliable operation in high-power systems.

The ICMS2321-10 and ICMS2321-1A are available in both surface-mount and through-hole packages, providing design flexibility. The AEC-Q200-qualified ICMS2321-1A specifically targets automotive applications, such as on-board chargers, while both models offer a self-shielded, rugged construction suitable for various EMI filtering and noise suppression tasks.
