Qorvo's QPB9026 is a highly integrated dual-band digital variable gain amplifier (DVGA), marketed as a "0.6 - 1.5 GHz, 2.9 - 3.5 GHz Dual Band DVGA (Driver) MCM." This device is engineered to deliver high RF performance across both L- and S-frequency bands, specifically covering 0.6 - 1.5 GHz and 2.9 - 3.5 GHz, respectively.

A key differentiator of the QPB9026 is its extensive integration of various RF functions within a single device. It incorporates an SPDT switch, a digital step attenuator (DSA), bandpass filters, and high-performance low-noise amplifiers(LNA). This multi-chip module(MCM) design significantly enhances system compactness and simplifies design complexity for engineers.

The DVGA offers precise gain control through its DSA, providing a 31.75 dB attenuation range in fine 0.25 dB steps. Control is facilitated via an SPI interface for the DSA, along with external pins for compatible CMOS control of channel switching, power up/down, and LNA bias adjustment. Additionally, the device includes built-in filters for effective out-of-band signal suppression, all housed in a compact, RoHS-compliant, surface-mount, leadless and shielded package.
