One-cell Li-ion Battery Protection IC with High-accuracy Overcurrent Detection Designed for Smartphone and Hearing Aid
Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc. has introduced the new R5619 Series of one-cell Li-ion / polymer battery protection IC that provides overcharge, overdischarge, and charge/discharge overcurrent detections and is suitable for Smart Phone, Tablet PC, and Hearing aids. Low consumption current and a low standby current of this IC help in achieving a longer driving time with a battery of small capacity. Moreover, major features of this device include charge/discharge overcurrent detectors with high accuracy of ±1.00 mV.
