Nordic Semiconductor announces the nRF54H20, the inaugural System-on-Chip (SoC) in the nRF54H Series, which revolutionizes IoT product development with its compact design, exceptional processing power, ample memory, and energy efficiency. Boasting a best-in-class multiprotocol radio, this SoC facilitates the creation of innovative IoT products by minimizing external components. Its efficient processing, ultra-low-power radio, and minimal sleep currents contribute to prolonged battery life or reduced battery size. The nRF54H20 features a long-range multiprotocol radio with 10 dBm TX power, -100 dBm RX sensitivity for Bluetooth LE, and -104 dBm for 802.15.4, ensuring extended connectivity. With state-of-the-art security measures such as secure boot, secure firmware update, and protection against physical attacks, the nRF54H20 provides robust protection against security threats. Key features include multiple Arm Cortex-M33 processors, RISC-V coprocessors, 2 MB non-volatile memory, 1 MB RAM, support for various wireless protocols, and additional peripherals like high-speed USB, CAN FD controllers, I3C, and a 14-bit ADC.
