New RACM140E-K Universal Input AC/DC Power Supplies Optimized for Home and Building Automation
RECOM introduces the new RACM140E-K range of universal input AC/DC power supplies, available in 12, 15, 24, 36, and 48VDC models These devices deliver 140W continuously (136.8W for the 36V model) and up to 210W for ten-second bursts. Outputs are adjustable with a trim potentiometer, and they accept input AC ranges of 80-264VAC. Available in open frame and enclosed versions, these power supplies measure 147 x 81.5 x 38mm (40mm for enclosed), fitting standard 3’’x 5’’ footprints. They include pin headers for connections, with optional push-in connectors for enclosed versions. The series is suitable for home and building automation, telecom, datacom, industrial use, medical equipment, e-mobility, infrastructure projects, and test and measurement devices.
Safety certifications include IEC/EN60335-1, IEC/EN62368-1, and IEC/EN ANSI/AAMI 60601-1 for medical applications, featuring 2MOPP ratings and low touch and leakage currents. They meet 'Class B' EMC standards, are suitable for pollution degree 2 environments, and are rated for over-voltage category III up to 2000 meters and OVC II up to 5000 meters. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +90°C with natural convection, and no-load power consumption is 100mW to meet eco-design requirements for standby mode. These power supplies come with a three-year warranty and an MTBF of 440,000 hours at 25°C according to MIL-HDBK-217, GB conditions.
