New Generation of Li-ion Cells from Panasonic with Improved Safety and Stability
Panasonic has introduced the latest evolution of its Li-ion cell, the NCR18650BD-improved which provides better reliability, longevity and performance alongside the requirements of contemporary applications. In today’s world of technologies, reliability is not only about the safety of the devices, it is also considered as an economic factor.
The NCR18650BD-improved can be charged at less stressful 4.15V from the start, hence it doesn’t need a State of Health (SOH) Check nor a reduction in the charging voltage. The capacity of each cycle is higher and is more stable when compared to PF cells, hence it can be charged and discharged with high reliability and long life.
