MF3D(H)x3 - Contactless Multi-Application IC for Fast Transaction in Smart City Applications
The NXP Semiconductors has announced its new MIFARE DESFire EV3 IC that welcomes next-generation performance, advanced security, and seamless integration of mobile services for better security and connectivity in the upcoming smart city services. The new EV3 IC in the MIFARE DESFire portfolio is backward compatible and provides enhanced performance even in greater distance and has an improved transaction speed.
The MIFARE DESFire EV3 IC can power mass transit ticketing and it can also deliver the next level convenience for end-users and reliability for service providers. The IC can support multiple applications and it delivers a wide array of enhanced features that allows transit agencies, access control solution providers, and system integrators to collaborate on new business models and scale their services.
With the advanced security features, the EV3 IC delivers faster and more secure contactless transactions such as paying for parking, accessing offices or campuses, and using other essential city services.
