Littelfuse has introduced the Class J Fuse Disconnect Switch, a versatile product that combines both a switch and multiple fuses into a single compact device. This innovative solution offers a simplified method for manually opening and closing circuits while providing essential protection against overcurrent and short circuits. The switch is designed to automatically blow the fuse in the event of an overload or short circuit, effectively interrupting both upstream and downstream circuits and shutting down the equipment. Available in 30, 60, 100, and 200 A variants, this 600 V switch caters to a wide range of applications across industries such as HVAC/R, mining, solar, energy storage, and industrial sectors. Its compact footprint is space-efficient and offers design flexibility. The switch also features a user-friendly frontal direct handle that requires no tools for installation.

The device offers multiple mounting options, including horizontal, vertical, or 45-degree orientations, making it adaptable to various installation scenarios. Furthermore, the switch provides optional handles for both front and side operation, accommodating different system designs. It also offers an optional lockout-tagout padlock feature, enhancing safety during maintenance or repairs by preventing the release of hazardous energy when the device is in the "OFF" position.
