High-Voltage Hall Effect Switch Series for Automotive Applications
ROHM has developed a new series of Hall ICs named the BD5310xG-CZ / BD5410xG-CZ series, designed for automotive magnetic detection needs. Hall ICs have the ability to detect position and motor rotation without contact, reducing wear compared to mechanical switches.
These sensors are compact and equipped with protection circuits and work across a broad supply voltage range from 2.7V to 38V, accommodating various applications. The internal design has lowered power consumption by around 20% compared to standard products, achieving a current consumption rate of 1.9mA.
The BD5310xG-CZ series employs unipolar detection, while the BD5410xG-CZ series features latch-type detection, offering flexibility for designers. The sensors are available in 11 models, detecting magnetic flux densities ranging from 2.0mT to 28.0mT.
