IQD, a subsidiary of the Wurth Elektronik has introduced two new low phase noise oscillators namely IQXO-408 & IQXO-455 in an industry-standard package of 2.5 x 2.0 mm and 3.2 x 2.5 mm. Available at 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V, the new CMOS clock oscillators can operate in phase noise as low as -113 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz and far-out phase noise as low as -172 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz with a phase jitter down to 40 fs RMS.

 

These new devices were designed for usage in applications such as fiber transceivers, gigabit Ethernet, and 5G base stations that required greater data rates. The IQXO-408 and IQXO-455 are ideal for applications such as IoT, 5G, PLL, frequency multiplier, clock recovery, gigabit Ethernet, fiber, studio-grade, and high-end consumer audio equipment.

  • Lowest operating phase noise: -113 dBc/Hz @ 10 Hz

  • Frequency: 12kHz to 5MHz
