High-Efficiency 100V 20A Trench Schottky Rectifiers for Fast Switching Applications
Nexperia has extended the portfolio of Trench Schottky rectifiers with devices rated at up to 100V and 20A for offering excellent behavior and leading thermal performance. With a low leakage, the Trench technology reduces the charge Qrr stored in the device. The new rectifiers deliver fast switching for cutting both the switching losses of the rectifier and losses that are induced in the MOSFET in the same communication cell.
The Trench Schottky rectifiers’ portfolio includes 32 devices from 40V to 100V and up to 15A. The PMEGxxxTx devices are housed in Clip Bond FlatPower packages CFP3/5/15(B) with a solid copper clip that reduces the thermal resistance and optimizes the transfer of heat into the ambient environment. The PMEGxxxTx devices additionally provide a wide safe operating area (SOA), delivering an extra safety margin and reducing the risk of thermal runaway compared to parts currently available.
