ROHM has introduced a new series of shunt resistors named as the GMR50 series delivers an industry-leading power of 4W rated power in a compact 5.0mm x 2.5mm size. The new series has combined a revised electrode structure with an optimized device design to improve heat dissipation in the PCB where the resistor is mounted, this results in a 39% smaller mounting area compared with the conventional 4W products.
