CR Series High-Power Chip Resistor with Advanced Thermal Management for Communications and Military Applications
Kyocera has launched new CR Series of high-power chip resistors that are offered to handle high-power and high-frequency applications with efficiency and reliability. CR Series high-power chip resistors are compact and have improved thermal management, making them ideal for communication technology, instrumentation, test and measurement, military, and defense sectors. These resistors are especially useful in devices that boost radio signals, simulate electrical loads for testing, measure power,
CR Series high-power chip resistors are non-magnetic, RoHS compliant, qualified to MIL-PRF-55342, manufactured in ISO-9001 facilities, and proven to deliver high-reliability performance in a wide range of high-power and high-frequency applications with power handling capacity up to 250W without overheating. They are available in eight distinct chip sizes, ranging from the 0603 to the 3737. 100Ω and 50Ω are the two primary resistance values that are offered by the CR Series with an operating temperature from -55°C to +150°C. 0603 size resistor can handle 2.6 watts of power and has a capacitance value of 0.3 pF.
