Compact SMD Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) for Low-Frequency Wireless and RF Applications

Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator from Raltron
Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator from Raltron

Raltron has introduced the OX7000 series, the industry's smallest SMD oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) in a 9mm x 7mm package. The new device has been designed with the aspects of 5G wireless infrastructure, transmission, precision instrumentation, broadcasting, utility metering infrastructure, and more.

With small size and superior temperature stability, the OX7000 series covers a frequency range from 5 MHz to 40 MHz and operates at a power supply voltage of 3.3 V at 150 mA steady state. The OX7000 series is housed in a hermetically sealed package for improved reliability offering a quick warm time of 3 minutes and a low phase noise of -158dbc/Hz at 10kHz offset and HCMOS output levels.

The OX7000 series ensures minimal frequency deviation after reflow, the high stability, and small size makes them ideal for low-frequency wireless and RF applications that require low noise.

Features of the OX7000 Series

  • Supply Voltage: 3.3V
  • Frequency: 20 MHz
  • Temperature Stability: +/-0.02
  • Operating Temperature Ranger: -40° C to 85°C
  • Frequency stability: +/-10 ppb
