Compact Low-Profile Flat Square Lens Type Passive Infrared or Pyroelectric Motion Sensors for Electromagnetic Shielding of Circuitries
Panasonic has expanded its lineup of EKMB and EKMC Series with the introduction of the “Flat Square Lens” Passive Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensor Line Extension. The new sensor offers both a low profile and flat surface granting a flush design look against the surface of the build. The on-chip ASIC design of the device saves space and offers electromagnetic shielding for all circuits, and reduces the number of components required.
The Flat Square Lens PIR Motion Sensors come with lenses that can create various detection zones, an optical filter to block non-infrared light, Pyroelectric sensing elements, and an impedance converter to get an electrical signal. It also features an amplifier and comparator circuit on the same chip inside a stem block.

- Wall installation, horizontally wide, high-density long-distance, low-profile types available
