Antenova Ltd. has announced a compact high performing antenna Lutosa for the 5G bands worldwide, including band 74 1420-1520MHz and band 71 617-698MHz. It is a flexible antenna measuring 95 x 15 x 0.15mm which makes it ideal for smaller designs as it can be curved or folded and inserted into the device. Lutosa is designed for the next generation of M2M and IoT applications using video streaming and high data rates on the 5G networks. This antenna will be suitable for autonomous vehicles, cellular Wi-Fi hotspots, urban delivery drones and CCTV over 5G.

The antenna is linear polarised and is designed for easy integration into a device. The antenna does not require a ground plane or a matching network, and is simply fixed in place using its own self-adhesive strip. It features 1.13mm diameter RF cable with I-PEX MHF connector and its quick integration minimizes design cycle. It is sold in packs of 100 which offer the flexibility to manufacture smaller volumes of devices and prototypes.
