BPS240 Series of Humidity Sensors with Reduced Footprint for Advanced Sensing Needs in Industrial and Medical Applications
Bourns has introduced the BPS240 series, a new device to its line of environmental sensors based on Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) technology. The new device offers a faster response time of less than one second with digital (I2C) output and higher accuracy with a typical RH accuracy of 2%.
The BPS240 series has been designed to offer immediate updates on relative humidity levels for advanced sensors in various applications such as industrial automation, energy, building & home control, and low/medium-risk medical applications. By offering high reliability in a small size (2.0 x 2.0 x 1.25 mm) footprint, the new sensors also help meet energy-efficient application requirements with their low voltage operation, reduced current consumption, and reliable embedded capacitive technology.
