P6KE200A TVS Diode
P6KE200A is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode that provides high overvoltage protection by clamping action. Its instantaneous response to transient overvoltages makes it particularly suited to protect voltage sensitive devices such as MOS Technology and low voltage supplied IC’s. For P6KE200A diode, breakdown voltage ranges from 190V to 210V and clamping voltage is 246 V.

Brief Note on P6KE200A
P6KE200A is a TVS diode that can nullify the sudden or momentary overvoltage effects on sensitive semiconductors and circuits. P6KE200A is connected in parallel with the device or circuit to be protected. Marking diagram for P6KE series is given below.
For unidirectional functioning Anode and cathode can be differentiated by the color band on the cathode side. In bi-directional mode diode has the same characteristics in the positive and the negative direction, so it does not matter which way they are connected into the circuit. In P6KE200A, P6KE is the series name, 200 is the operating voltage of diode, A stands for Uni-directional (5% voltage tolerance). I-V characteristics for P6KE200A is shown below:
